Transpose is a Cheshire based company providing a make-over and dressing service for all T-Girls and a retail shop providing lots of girlie essentials.  It is not only my business but my passion, I eat, sleep and breathe it.  My studio is very discreet, a place you can be yourself - somewhere to relax, have fun and totally forget the outside world.  Whether you are looking for the full 5 Star one-on-one makeover and photoshoot or whether you are just dropping by for a browse in the shop, make Transpose your first choice.

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to set up a company mainly to teach T-Girls how to apply make-up but Transpose was actually hatched in my head in the early 90's and like a lot of people, I had the ideas but never did anything about it.  Time whizzed by and suddenly I realised that if I don’t start achieving my aims and dreams now, I would regret it later in life. So with my own savings I set up Transpose in 2006.

I believe I have the world’s best job and I get immense job satisfaction, which is not something everyone can say – I count myself fortunate and all my clients are treated as special, because they are special to me.

Hubby’s Bit

For all the girls I’ve already met and for the girls yet to come, I thought I would write a few words about my Teela-Jane. We have been together for nearly 20 years now and it was quite soon after we met that Teela-Jane first spoke of her dream, that of offering a dressing and make-over service for T-girls. A dream it remained for a number of years, always there and often spoken about but never quite the right time, then a realisation that the years were rushing by and a “now or never” moment...we chose now.

That was 5 years ago; we started in “The Shed”, soon moved to “The Shop” and now have “The Studio” and what a great place it is; modern, stylish and warm (for those of you who remember how cold the shed was!) but enough of the building, it’s my wife I want to speak about. The one thing I really want to mention is what I see when she comes home, to hear the excitement in her voice, to see the enjoyment on her face, the smiles say it all. She does this because she loves it, it’s that simple. Her dream is now our reality; the most important thing in my life is this business simply because she has done something I’ve never had the guts to do and that is to follow a dream and make it real. I have met some great girls over the years and have had some great times and I know there will be so many more to come.

So, to my wife and your Teela-Jane, I love you. To all the girls, thank you for your help, support and friendship over the years and...after trying on a pair of shoes and tottering around, I don't think I will ever be able to walk in heels!
